Chapter 4 - The Truth Comes Out.. And My Dad Takes It Better.

So, at this point, Annabeth was still looking at her feet. She didn't realize that the God of the Seas was right in front of us. I stuttered, trying to explain, "D- Fath- Father, Uhm, Annabeth and I were just leaving.."
Annabeth had looked up when I said 'Father' and her face was pale. "Y- Yes. Yes we were," Annabeth said, her eyes never leaving Poseidon's stare.
"Hmmm. Percy, Annabeth, I think it would be best if you came with me." He took a hold of my arm, and I grabbed Annabeth's hand.
"Great.." I muttered.
There was a bright white light, and we were suddenly up on Olympus. A tiny part of my brain thought, 'Yay! No crappy elevator music!'. Poseidon had let go of my arm, but Annabeth wouldn't let go of my hand. I was sure I would start sweating any second now, and I started to blush. I hoped Athena wouldn't see this. But then again, if Annabeth could stand it, so could I. I squeezed her hand.
Poseidon led us through the court-yard of Olympus, past The Muses, some shops, and up some stairs. We finally reached the Grand Hall. Aphrodite was sitting in her throne, holding a mirror up and fixing her lipstick. She looked surprisingly like Annabeth. When she saw me walk in, she looked at both me and Annabeth's hands, and winked at me. I put my hands in my pocket and blushed.
Poseidon led us to a room behind the Hall, and Athena was in there. She looked and noticed Poseidon. "Oh, Poseidon.." Athena spat out the last word. Then she noticed Annabeth and I. "Hello, daughter." She looked at me. "Son of Poseidon."
"Athena, these two were in caught in my palace." Poseidon said, crossing his arms.
I put my hand up and scratched the back of my head. "Uhm.. Haha.." I said reluctantly.
Athena pursed her lips. "Daughter, come with me."
"O- Okay.." Annabeth frowned, and walked off into a seperate room with her mom.
"Dad. I seriously didn't think-" I started, but was cut off.
"Exactly! You didn't think. Gah! What were you doing with an ATHENIAN in MY palace?!" He yelled angrily.
"I-" Cut off again. This is gonna be a fun talk.
"I don't want you to bring your girlfriends down there anymore. Ever." He said, calming down slightly.
"Dad! She's not my girlfriend!" I yelled. I immediately wished I hadn't Yelling at a GOD wasn't exactly a good thing. Luckily, he seemed not to notice.
"Percy. I'm your father. AND, I'm a god. I can tell when you like someone." He said, smiling at me mischievously and sitting down on a couch.
I sighed. "Well.." I didn't know how to express it. "Dad, I .. I love her." I said softly, looking down at my feet.
Anger flickered across his eyes for a moment, but then was replaced by serenity. "I know. And even though she's.. an Athenian-" He spit that word out. Gods, get along you two. "-I find it cute. You are 17 now, Percy, and so is she. I trust that you are mature enough to handle a serious relationship-" It was my turn to cut him off.
"We're not dating!" I said.
He laughed. "Well then beef up and ask her at that dance, or whatever it is your going to this weekend." Gods, I hope Annabeth's mother was going this easy on her. "All I wish is that you don't show other god's kids my realm."
"O- Okay. I'm sorry.. I just really wanted to impress her." I said, blushing and looking back down at my feet.
"Alright, it's fine. Go check on how your 'friend' is doing." Poseidon said, grinning.
I walked out of the room. I didn't hear my dad's last words though.. "Percy, Percy, Percy.. If you would just slow down and listen to her, she feels the same way."

Annabeth's POV --

"Mom!" I shouted angrily.
"Annabeth, he is a son of POSEIDON! You can do better than that.. that.. Argh!" Athena was storming around the room, with an angry glare fixed on her daughter.
"Mom.." I said, soft this time. "I.. I love him."
"WHAT?" Athena froze for a second.
"I LOVE HIM!" I screamed. I ran out of the room, almost knocking Percy over on the way.

Percy's POV --

Annabeth came storming out of the room, almost knocking me onto the floor. "C'mon, Seaweed Brain." She muttered.
"Hey, how'd it go with Athena?" I asked, trying to keep her pace.
"Uhm.. fine." Annabeth lied.
"Really? Thats good."
We were in the Grand Hall now. Aphrodite was still sitting with her legs crossed on her throne.
"Oooh, I heard it all, kids." She smiled mischievously.
I turned a dark shade of red, and so did Annabeth, for whatever reason.
"Aphrodite, could you help us get back to camp?" Annabeth asked.
"Sure." She pointed her finger at us, and we were in front of Cabin 3.
"Well.. I guess other than getting in trouble with our parents, I had fun." I joked.
"Yeah.. I did too. Thank you SOO much, Seaweed Brain-" I could somehow tell that she meant it. "-I had a great time."
I smiled. Her eyes sparkled. My brain fell into my stomach, again. Then, I leaned over and kissed her. Softly, at first. Next thing I know, her hand was around the back of my head and we started kissing aggresively. She pushed me slowly into the cabin, and shut the door. I turned us around- never stopping to breathe -and fell onto my bed. Annabeth was on top of me now, and rubbing my cheek. I opened my mouth, allowing her tongue to meet mine. We stayed this way for a while until the cabin door opened.
Annabeth jerked her head up, and almost hit the top bunk. She blushed, and I turned around.
It was Thalia.
Zomg. If I was in that position, I would be like,

"THALIA. DON'T YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE TO BE?"

Lol. :boogie:
